Day 8 of the 365 Project and I Saw an Amazing Weeping Norway Spruce
Why Did I Take An Image of the Weeping Norway Spruce?
Today was a long day at work so I took the camera with me hoping to come across an interesting shot as I would have no time before or after work to get an image outdoors.
On one of my stops here was this beautiful and amazing Weeping Norway Spruce.
In my previous life, I managed a large retail nursery. One of my favorite ornamental trees are weeping Norway Spruce.
I like how the skirt (the branches in the front that spread out) creeps across the ground and the general mounding habit of the tree. The spruce will continue to grow taller and spread out as well.
What you can’t see in the photo is that the backside looks the same as the side showing. It fills in the whole area between this circular driveway!
I know this is more or less a snapshot, but I was working at the time, and when you are trying to link together 365 continuous days of photographs there will be days where you don’t get the time to create an artistic shot.
Regardless, I’m happy with the image of one of my favorite ornamental trees!
