Guppy Falls – November 25, 2024 365 Project

Day 21 of the 365 Project – Quick Trip to Guppy Falls

The November Rains Brings Flow Back to Guppy Falls

I took 45 minutes to walk up to Guppy Falls, knowing the recent rain would have the creek flowing again. It’s a nice place to bring Caden for a quick run, especially during hunting season as no one hunts the ravine up to the falls. Please he loves playing in the streams.

As expected, there was a nice flow so I took a photo of the falls. I forgot my polarizing filter, so I narrowed the aperture to f/22. I’ve never taken a photo at F/22 so I want to see how much distortion there would be. It doesn’t seem bad and it dragged the shutter perfectly to give the water a nice milky appearance.

The quick shot gave me enough time to get groceries for Thanksgiving, the dog got a brisk run and a bath at the same time!

Today’s photo makes three weeks of straight images all outside!

Day 21 in the books!

Some winter weather is coming up after Thanksgiving along with extended workday deliveries because of Black Friday and Cyber Monday shopping and shorter daylight to boot! It will get interesting to see what I can come up with for photos.
